Sewa Nyaya Utthan Holds Awareness In Delhi’s Jwalapuri Against Miracle-Healing Fraud, Love Traps Made Through False Identity

Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation conducted its 10th community awareness workshop in Delhi’s Jwalapuri Colony as part of its ongoing campaign to educate vulnerable people against exploitative conversion traps.

Meant specifically for women, this session focused on miracle-healing fraud as well as love traps started through false identity by exploitative conversion rackets or agenda-driven individuals.

The women were told about real-life examples and taught how to exercise due diligence before entering personal relationships or even faith-based inducements.

Our team explained that women are often the primary targets of deceptive practices involving concealed identity or false representations in personal relationships. Participants were encouraged to verify important facts independently, communicate openly with their families, and promptly seek legal assistance whenever they suspect deception, coercion, or any other unlawful conduct.

As part of the legal literacy session, participants were introduced to the provisions of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, which regulates objectionable advertisements relating to certain drugs and purported magical remedies. The discussion also highlighted Article 51A(h) of the Constitution of India, which places a fundamental duty upon every citizen to develop scientific temper, humanism, and the spirit of inquiry and reform. The Foundation explained the importance of constitutional values, evidence-based thinking, and lawful remedies while addressing such issues.

The interactive session allowed participants to raise questions, share concerns, and seek clarification regarding these issues. The session encouraged participants to report any suspected unlawful activities to the competent authorities through established legal procedures.
