Rajasthan’s Jodhpur city, located at the edge of the Thar Desert, faces extreme temperatures during the peak summer months. The severe heat significantly affects daily activities, making it particularly challenging for students to attend educational sessions.
Recognising the impact of the harsh climatic conditions on student attendance at our Jodhpur educational camp for Pakistani Hindu refugee children, immediate actions were taken to mitigate the situation.
Our team at Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation swiftly procured and installed air coolers at the camp. This initiative was aimed at providing a more conducive learning environment for the students, ensuring they could continue their education without the hindrance of extreme heat.
Within a day, we saw results in the form of full classroom attendance. Students expressed significant relief and satisfaction.
