Intervention: Court Notice for Illegal Communal Structure in Nangloi

In collaboration with our alliance partner @BhaiPreetSingh, we are fighting in court to free public land in Nangloi, Delhi. We are addressing an illegal structure, specifically a mosque, which was built by encroaching on a lane and on 34 plots allotted to the poor in place of their jhuggis. The court has now issued notice in the matter, bringing this illegal structure a step closer to demolition. Details: https://x.com/swati_gs/status/2117590516334563414

Intervention: Complaint Filed for Abduction and Forced Conversion of Minor

We filed a complaint before higher authorities in Bareilly, UP, seeking action under child protection, rape, extortion and anti-conversion laws against Abdul Rehman, accused of abducting a minor Hindu schoolgirl to Delhi, sexually assaulting her and coercing her to renounce her faith. This follows the police booking him only under the Arms Act. We also sought criminal action against the village pradhan’s husband for intimidating the victim’s family. Preparation: Self-Defence Training for Children at Delhi Centre

At our centre in Delhi, children trained in martial arts and self-defence under the mentorship of Sanjeev Newar. The training gives vulnerable children structured practice, physical fitness and the skills and confidence to protect themselves.
