Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation's bulletin covers legal interventions against a professor's harassment and forced conversion, child protection in Gujarat, and self-defence training for refugee children.

New Delhi: Sewa Nyaya Utthan (SNU) published its Daily Impact Bulletin on 31 October 2026, highlighting our legal escalations, child rehabilitation efforts, and self-defence training initiatives.

Intervention: Notices to UGC and Nagpur Police on Harassment and Conversion Pressure

We legally escalated a case against Dr Ahmar Afaq, an assistant professor at Symbiosis Law School in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is accused of sending explicit messages to female students and coercing them towards conversion. We sought criminal proceedings against him. Notices were issued to the Chairperson of the University Grants Commission and the Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, to inquire into the matter. Intervention: Complaint Filed for Abduction and Forced Conversion in Gujarat

We filed a complaint for the strictest prosecution of Abdul Sandhi, Sakir Pathan, and Asif Qawali. They are accused of forcing a minor girl from Gir Somnath, Gujarat, through conversion rituals after she was abducted and taken across districts ahead of a planned unlawful child marriage. We urged @GujaratPolice to arrest the absconding co-accused Nishad Kazi and probe the wider network, with rehabilitation and state security for the rescued child and her family. Rehabilitation: Rescued Gau Mata Taken for Medical Care in Delhi

Our team rescued a gau mata with a fractured leg in Sultanpuri, Delhi, and took her for medical care.

Preparation: Martial Arts Training for Displaced and Underprivileged Children in Jodhpur

We held the day’s martial arts training at our full-time Jodhpur centre. We run a martial arts led rehabilitation and empowerment programme for children from displaced Hindu families from Pakistan. Underprivileged children train alongside them in self-defence.

Preparation: Self-Defence Training for Children in Delhi

We held the day’s self-defence training at our centre in Delhi, which we run jointly with Sudarshan Vahini. Children there train in martial arts to protect themselves.
