We legally escalated the matter after Hindu tribal families in Bigaudi village, Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, threatened exodus following a tribal man’s killing. They put up “House for Sale” signs and started leaving the village. Maihar’s district magistrate and superintendent of police have been directed to respond with action taken report within two weeks.
