New Delhi: Sewa Nyaya Utthan (SNU) released its Daily Impact Bulletin (15 October 2026), highlighting legal escalations and awareness initiatives across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi.
In an incident at Alpine International School in Shamli, UP, a teacher forcibly removed kalawa and tilak from minor students. SNU legally escalated the matter to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The NHRC issued a notice to the UP Basic Education Department to clarify whether statewide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) exist or are being framed to prevent schools from imposing arbitrary bans on students’ sacred cultural symbols. SNU legally escalated the matter of a primary-school girl gagged with a black cloth and used on stage for politically charged ideological projection at Christ Senior Secondary School in Guna, MP. SNU sought an urgent administrative and legal inquiry, along with a scrutiny of the school’s affiliations and regulatory permissions. Details: https://x.com/VaidSatish/status/2110610135248736267
SNU legally escalated the matter of a conversion syndicate in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, UP, which was stated to be luring vulnerable families through a multi-level marketing front. SNU sought action under the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act and a probe into its financing. Earlier notices by the National Human Rights Commission, issued on 4 August, asked the Police Commissioner and the District Magistrate of Lucknow for a response. When they failed to submit it, a final one-week reminder was issued, warning that coercive powers will be used if they do not report. Details: https://x.com/VaidSatish/status/2110714130638553436
Under the ongoing Navratri special program in collaboration with Sudarshan Vahini, SNU held an event at Rama Vihar, Delhi. The awareness session focused on the tactics predators use to trap women for exploitation or conversion. The program involves serving fruits to women and girls breaking their Navratri fast, alongside educational sessions. SNU has set a target to reach 1000+ women during these nine days.
SNU trained Pakistani Hindu refugee and underprivileged children in self-defence and martial arts at its full-time centre in Jodhpur in three batches covering 150 children and youth.
SNU also held self-defence classes for vulnerable children at its Delhi centre, where classes are run in a temple to prepare them to protect themselves.
