We facilitated the return of three siblings – two brothers and a sister – into Vedic Sanatana dharma in Delhi through shuddhi and name change. Born to a couple where the wife was subjected to forced conversion, the siblings took the step after the death of their father. Our partner Sudarshan Vahini executed the task. A 12-year-old Delhi girl has been missing for six weeks and is feared to have been pushed into the hands of an unlawful conversion racket. An FIR was filed on 23 July at Najafgarh Police Station but she has not been traced. We, along with our partner Save India Foundation, helped the father file a habeas corpus plea in Delhi high court and secured a major order to bring her home safely. The court directed that the investigation be transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and gave the Unit 10 days to trace the minor and submit a comprehensive status report. The matter is next listed for September 21. Details:https://x.com/sewanyaya/status/2097568293234340091

We stood with a youth named Shivam Mishra and helped secure his bail from a Delhi court after Bihar police travelled to Delhi to arrest him on frivolous blasphemy accusations. The bail was secured amid high drama in court. Our partner Save India Foundation led the legal effort. Details: https://x.com/swati_gs/status/2097669088999084211

We took our ongoing program in Bhopal to educate college students in sexual grooming and communal gender crimes sessions, to two more college campuses this week – Bhabha University and TRUBA Institute of Engineering and Information Technology. We trained over 600 students this week to recognise the tactics organised networks use for sexual grooming, forced conversion and exploitation. The sessions covered student rights, consent, anti-ragging, women’s safety and empowerment, and equipped students to recognise and resist manipulation. Our partner NAMO Foundation implemented the training. Details:https://www.instagram.com/p/DdEigRfiQ5G/

We promptly acted in a case where a Class 10 schoolgirl was being threatened with acid attack by a boy she met through an online gaming app. The stalker had sent her a picture of himself holding an illegal weapon to threaten her. After we were approached by her distressed father, we took the matter up with the Delhi police. The boy was promptly arrested, booked and jailed. Our partner Save India Foundation led the legal effort. We are closely monitoring the matter for the girl’s safety. Details:https://x.com/swati_gs/status/2098415476707905841

We, through our partner Save India Foundation, provided legal assistance to a youth named Swatantra Bhardwaj. We hold the FIR against him, under Atrocity Act, to be legally untenable and politically motivated. He was a student when he took part in the CJP protest, and SC/ST Act provisions were added to the case more than two months later based on a podcast. FIRs against other protesters in the same matter have been quashed, and we are pursuing the same relief for him. We are providing him a legal team for his bail hearing, which is likely this week. On our complaint, the National Human Rights Commission directed the Rajasthan Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police to inquire and submit an Action Taken Report into a network we accused of driving unlawful religious conversions among Scheduled Caste Valmiki and Scheduled Tribe Bhil communities in Jaipur and southern Rajasthan. We flagged that foreign funds might have been received without mandatory FCRA permission and misrepresented as business and consultancy income, and we pushed for an inquiry into the caste-certificate status of the accused for any violation of Para 3 of the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950.

The National Human Rights Commission took cognisance of our complaint and directed the Superintendent of Police, Hathras, to inquire and submit an Action Taken Report over grave death threats being issued to an adult married couple belonging to different religious communities. The woman voluntarily embraced Hinduism and married her partner under Hindu rites, and executed a legal affidavit affirming her conversion and marriage without coercion, yet the couple has been facing persistent threats from her family, putting their rights under Article 21 in jeopardy. We sought round-the-clock protection for the couple and strict preventive and legal action against those issuing the threats. Details:https://x.com/swati_gs/status/2099806276046000596
𝟗. Over 150 children from displaced and marginalised families continued their daily martial-arts training at our full-time Jodhpur centre. We run the centre free of cost for Pakistani Hindu refugee and other underprivileged children, and it has grown into a steady program for children and youth from refugee and other migrant communities. Over 100 students of a Jodhpur school were additionally provided special self-defence training. Details:https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdEGnPKCb9_/
𝟏𝟎. 100 children from impoverished families in a Delhi slum colony continued to receive daily meals and value-based teaching at a centre we support. The centre is run by our partner Rajkumar. We back the operations so it can keep running and the children can grow with dignity.
𝟏𝟏. Over 50 children from under-served families continued their daily training at a temple in Rohini, Delhi, under our ongoing physical fitness and martial arts program. The centre is operated by our partner Sudarshan Vahini and we back it so children from under-served families can build strength, discipline and confidence.
