Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation trained and enabled government school students from Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh to compete at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay’s Techfest 2025 – one of Asia’s largest technology festivals.
Students from Classes 4 to 9, trained under Sewa Nyaya Utthan’s structured STEM and robotics programme, competed directly against undergraduate engineering teams from across the country.
Ahead of Techfest 2025, Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation organised a focused STEM and robotics training workshop in Sambhal for the selected government school students.
The workshop was held in coordination with the district administration and was formally acknowledged by the District Magistrate of Sambhal, Shri Rajender Pensiya, who appreciated the initiative and interacted with the students during their preparation phase.
Their performance at IIT Bombay was recognised with Certificates of Excellence and a Special Commendation, while Techfest 2025 formally honoured Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation for its sustained contribution to nurturing STEM education and advanced robotics among underserved students.
This achievement followed focused preparation under Sewa Nyaya Utthan’s Natkhat Robot programme, launched in Sambhal in 2024.
The Foundation conducted free robotics workshops for over 100 government schoolchildren, provided robotic kits to 20 government schools, and offered sustained mentoring under the guidance of founder Shri Sanjeev Newar, who was individually honoured by IIT Bombay’s Techfest 2025 for architecting a robotics education framework for underserved students of Bharat.
Earlier rounds at IIT Delhi and IIT Kanpur prepared the students for advanced competition standards, culminating in their recognition at Techfest 2025 and reaffirming that structured access and mentorship can place government school students on India’s highest technical platforms.
