Simdega, Jharkhand:In a meaningful outreach effort, Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation, led by journalist-activist Swati Goel Sharma and data scientist Sanjeev Newar, conducted a major community support initiative in Biru block of Simdega, one of Jharkhand’s remotest and underserved tribal regions.

As part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to reach children in neglected parts of Bharat, the team distributed stationery kits and served hot nutritious meals to over 150 school-going children in the area. The event also included value-based engagement with the children, focused on self-confidence, moral awareness, and cultural grounding.

Speaking about the initiative, Swati Goel Sharma said:

“Children in Bharat’s most remote areas deserve the same dignity, resources, and encouragement as those in urban centres. This project aims to bridge that gap, without any agenda – just pure, purposeful sewa.”

Volunteers highlighted the enthusiasm of children, many of whom had never received personal stationery kits before. Community elders expressed gratitude for the effort, describing it as one of the few times any outside support reached their hamlet without conditions.

Snajeev Newar emphasized that this form of unconditional service (sewa) is the Foundation’s core principle.
