Service. Justice. Inclusion.

Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation recently helped the people of a remote village in Uttar Pradesh get a hand pump installed. Seeing the villagers heave a sigh of relief makes one realise that something which may be trivial for many of us is, in fact, a matter of life and death for many others. That realisation hits hard.

Harkadi is largely a village of marginalised people, for whom, even as basic a necessity of life as water was not easily accessible. People from the village had approached the foundation to help them in setting up a hand pump in the cremation ground of the village. The fact that people from a far-flung village in the country had traced us and called for help was perhaps proof that word of our sewa work had travelled far and wide.

Without delay, we made arrangements for the fund required to set up the hand pump. The villagers wasted no time in putting up the hand pump with the money they received and happily shared the images with our founders. They thanked us sincerely for our timely support.

The work done by Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation has always been out-of-the-box. Do support our initiatives so that we can reach out to more and more such people, who don’t have access to even the most rudimentary necessities of life. A small help can make so many lives better that you feel it is worthwhile to go the extra mile in rendering that sewa (service).
