Through our Intervention Cell, we legally escalated the unauthorised use of a government-run Anganwadi centre in South Delhi’s Adivasi Camp for faith-healing prayer meetings and conversion-linked activities targeting vulnerable children and residents, and demanded an immediate police and administrative inquiry and stringent action against those responsible. The Delhi Police Commissioner and the Secretary of Delhi’s Women and Child Development Department must now have the allegations inquired into and submit an Action Taken Report within two weeks.

In Delhi, under our ongoing Navratri program held with Sudarshan Vahini, we served falahar to women and girls breaking their fast. We then took them through real-life cases and the tactics predators use to entrap their victims, so they can recognise the warning signs.

Under our self-defence program in Delhi, we trained children at our centre today in basic martial arts, street awareness and reading danger early. The training builds their confidence to stand their ground and their ability to protect themselves.
