Sewa Nyaya Utthan enabled structured salon skill training and certification for youth.
The programme focused on helping participants gain professional ground through formal training rather than informal or unrecognised work.
Incidentally, all youths hail from the backward Sain (barber) community, who approached the Foundation saying that their traditional space in the grooming industry has steadily shrunk in recent years.
The training covered modern salon practices, hygiene standards, customer handling, and hands-on grooming skills. Participants were assessed and issued certificates on completion, allowing them to seek employment or operate independently within the organised salon ecosystem. The initiative was implemented in phases, moving from training to certification and onward livelihood planning.
The initiative received local public and media attention during certificate distribution.
Your support enables Sewa Nyaya Utthan to keep building skill-based pathways that protect work, dignity, and self-reliance.
