Young talents of 6th to 8th grade from underprivileged Pakistani Hindu refugee camps, currently getting mentorship at Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation Jodhpur Vidya Kendra, competed against the brightest minds from India’s premier tech institutes at Asia’s largest science and technology championship, Techfest 2023, by IIT Bombay.
Under the mentorship of our founder, Shri Sanjeev Newar (an IIT-IIM alumnus), these young talents not only left a special mark in the zonal round of the robotics competition but also received ovations and appreciation during the final round at Techfest.
With over 1600 students from premier engineering institutions across the nation, including IIT Bombay, IIT BHU, and IIT Kanpur, participating in this competition, the talent and determination of our Pakistani Hindu refugee students garnered a standing ovation from their fellow competitors and the Techfest, IIT Bombay’s organising team for this competition alike.
It was a deeply emotional moment for all of us.
This stands as a testament to the potential unlocked through nurturing and guidance, made possible by the unwavering support of our sahyogis.
